- Can your vinyl be painted?
Epoxy based paints are the only paints
recommended to paint a vinyl product. Painting
our product voids the manufacturer's
warranty.
- What is a Co-Extrusion?
Co-Extrusion is the manufacturing process
used to bond the ingredients into two layers.
These layers are fused through extreme heat
and pressure and cannot be physically
separated. Co-Extrusion allows the
manufacturer to have the ability to control
the placement of the majority of the UV
inhibitor (TIO2) to the outside where it is
exposed to the sun. Purchasing a Co-Extruded
product will assure you that the product will
perform for the long term.
- Is vinyl strong?
The vinyl we provide for all our products
has 5 times the tensile strength and 4 times
the flexibility of wood.
- Is your product environmentally safe? Does
it contain lead?
Our vinyl is safe and non-toxic and contains
no lead. The product does not contain harmful
chemicals that can leach into your yard. It
is safe for children and pets. This is one of
the reasons it has been used extensively in
the equine community since the early
1980's.
